I started Rational Wellness Co. because I kept seeing the same pattern — people genuinely trying to get healthier, being sold on overcomplicated programs they couldn't sustain, and walking away feeling like the problem was them. It wasn't. The system was just wrong for their life.

My background isn't what you might expect from a fitness coach. I studied finance at the University of Alabama — B.S. in Finance with a Wealth Management minor — before earning my NASM Certified Personal Trainer certification. That combination shapes how I think about health: like a long-term investment strategy. Consistency and fundamentals beat intensity and complexity every single time. You don't need an extreme protocol. You need a sound one.

Do I need to already be in shape to start?
No. The system is built for busy beginners as much as for experienced lifters. We start where you are — every program is calibrated to your current strength, schedule, and constraints. The point is progress, not punishment.
What if I travel a lot or my schedule is unpredictable?
The online tiers are built for it. Workouts adapt to any gym, hotel, or bodyweight setup. The sleep and nutrition frameworks travel with you.
How is this different from an app like Future, Caliber, or Trainerize?
One coach instead of a rotating roster, sleep and nutrition built into the program instead of bolted on, an in-person Birmingham option, and a 2-sessions-a-week cap so you build independence instead of dependency. Apps optimize for retention. I optimize for you not needing me in five years.
Can I cancel? Are there contracts?
No contracts, ever. Online programs are billed monthly and you can cancel any time from your dashboard or by email. In-person programs run in 8-session blocks — once you've used your sessions, you decide whether to continue. Results earn the relationship, not the other way around.
